Kalotsava by Ananya is a celebration of talent
|
Every year on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava, Ananya organises many music and dance programmes based on Kannada compositions. It is organising “Kalotsava – 2009” this year featuring talented young artists from across the state,
who will present compositions of composers from Karnataka.
The artistes are Ashwini Satish, Priya Gurumurthy, Chandana Bala, Manasi Prasad, G. Ravi Kiran. “Kalotsava – 2009” will be held at the Ananya Sabhangana, 4th main, Malleswaram, from November 11 to 15 from 6.30 p.m. onwards.
On November 11, the programme will feature Ashwini Satish on the vocals, Aditi Krishna Prakash on the violin and R. Adamya on the violin. On November 12, Priya Gurumurthy will be on the veena, S.V. Balakrishnan on the mridangam and Phanindra Bhaskara on the ghata. On November 13, catch Chandana Bala on the vocals, Mathur Srinidhi on the mridangam.
On November 14, Manasi Prasad will perform on the vocals, Shuba Santosh on the veena and Mysore Dayakar on the violin.
On November 15, watch G. Ravi Kiran on the vocals, Charulatha Ramanujam on the violin and Tumkur B. Ravi Shankar on the mridangam.
