Maha Ganapathy homam

The annual month-long special Maha Ganapathy homam will be performed from July 17 (Friday) to August 16 (Sunday) during the Tamil month of ‘Aadi’ this year at Sri Muthannaval Samadhi premises in Sengalipuram village, Tiruvarur district.

The homam will be conducted by Vedic scholars led by A.Advarapathy Dikshithar, Agnihotri and Mantramoorthy of Sengalipuram, hailing from the family of late Anantharama Dikshithar. According to Sri Advarapathy Dikshithar, apart from the homam several other pujas and special homams including Dharana Saraswathi Mahamanthra Japa homam, Medha Suktha japam, etc., are to be performed during the period.
