‘Rasigan’ on Kalaignar



Rasigan: MSV with his fans

‘Rasigan,’ a Sunday morning (11 a.m. to 12 Noon) treat for film lovers on Kalaignar TV, touches the 50 mark on July 5.

The accent is on talented fans of actors, singers, composers and so on, who are selected for the show. Actors from MGR and Sivaji Ganesan to present day heroes have been featured in ‘Rasigan.’

The special Ilaiyaraja segment which was a great hit with viewers went on for 25 weeks at a stretch.

Along with the fans, the unique programme for the most part brings together the artist of the week as well as other veterans who admire him, on the podium.

The special show this Sunday will see an assemblage of diehard loyalists of M.S. Viswanathan, who makes an appearance. The composer will interact with the group.

The focus will be on singer Sirkazhi Govindarajan the following week.
