Sunaada Art Foundation celebrates the conferring of Bharatharatna award to the Indian music legend, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, as part of its fourth anniversary celebrations. The organisation has planned music concerts along with audio-visual presentations of some rare recordings, videos, images and interviews with people who have closely interacted with Panditji.

To commemorate the occasion, Pandit Madhava Gudi, prime disciple of Bhimsen Joshi will grace the occasion and also perform. The event will be held on January 17 at Gayana Samaja, K.R. The morning session starts with classical vocal presentation by Gayathri Gudi, daughter of Pandit Madhava Gudi and will be followed by an audio-visual presentation. The session concludes with a vocal concert by Dr. Nagaraj Rao Havaldar. The evening session starts with bhajans by Mukunda H.S., from the devotional music repertoire of Pandit Bhimsen Joshi.
