Ammula had a great stage presence. The programme started with an enlightening and erudite harikatha ganam by Chirra Bramhananda Reddy Bhagavathar.

The function was inaugurated by Putta Jaganmohana Rao, a patron of arts.

The chief guests were Natyavadhanam exponent Dhara Ramanadha Sastri and Mangalagiri Aditya Prasad, Station Director of Akashvani.
