The summer vacation is here and travel enthusiasts are waiting to break the routine and take off to their favourite destinations. The Indian Tourism Development Corporation and various state Tourism departments provide a number of travel packages to destinations all across India. Check out a few of them here.

Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) Packages

Rail Packages : The Rameswaram trip starts from Chennai on first and third Tuesdays by train. You can return to Chennai by Rameswaram Express. The tourists can visit Ramanathaswamy temple, Pamban bridge, Dhanushkodi, Kothandaramaswamy temple, Thiruppullani, Uthirakosamangai and Devipattinam, during the two-day -trip. Fare per person : Rs.1900 (non A/C Coach and non A/C double room sharing) There are similar rail packages to Ahmedabad, Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkatta, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Honeymoon packages: Three-day separate honeymoon packages to Ooty, Kodaikanal and Yercaud could be the right option in summer. The fair during April to June 15 is Rs. 6,000, 6,000 and 4,000 respectively which includes veg food, half day sight seeing tour, accommodation and one time boating. The fair is less during off season.

Tailor made tours: You could also arrange customised tours according to your convenience by filling online forms with details like the preferred number of days, size of the group and accommodation type.

A 14-day Sunny South tour covering places in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala with fares starting from Rs.11,300 per person is available.
