Women on Wanderlust organises a seven-day tour to The Valley of Flowers starting August 22 from Delhi.

The valley is located at an altitude of 4,329 metres. Over a 1,000 varieties of flowers, shrubs, orchids and plants, including Himalayan wild flowers, ferns, dwarf iris, dwarf larkspur, dwarf rhododendrons, blue poppies and asters grow wild in the valley.

The tour begins with a drive to Haridwar and a visit to Har Ki Puri.

A drive to Joshimath later, you start trekking from Govind Ghat to Ghangaria or Govind Dham, the base camp to visit the valley.

An entire day is dedicated to trekking in The Valley of Flowers.

The tour also takes you to Rudraprayag, the confluence of Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers — a Hindu pilgrimage centre.

The package costs Rs. 31,750 per person on twin-share basis.

The last date for payments is July 15.
