Singer-turned-actor Tia Bajpai has definitely come a long way. The ravishing actor is seen in Identity Card and her confidence can easily be seen in her body language. She looks supremely fit.

“It is not very difficult to stay fit. One only needs firm belief,” says the actor, with lot of conviction.

Every actor starts his/her day with something special which keeps him or her going for the entire day. In Tia’s case, she starts her day with a cup of warm water. “After gulping warm water, I do deep meditation for 15 minutes. I never skip my breakfast and yes, an old fashioned cup of tea is a must for me.”

Nowadays, every actor whether in films or television, works out in the gym. Flaunting a good body on the screen has become a norm. But Tia does not believe in this mantra.

She doesn’t follow any special fitness regime.

“Not really. I make sure that I do my 20 minutes of cardio daily. If I am not shooting then I do other exercises as well,” says Tia.

While the actor does not believe in pumping iron like some other female actors, she follows a diet schedule which has become a fad among contemporary actors.

“I eat every two hours as I have to keep myself going. Since I am a vegetarian, it already cuts down on a lot of heavy calorie stuff.”

Since Tia has to travel outside Mumbai for work-related assignments she has to take special care as far as food is concerned.

She is conscious of what she eats. Particularly her oil intake. “When I am travelling, I ask the hotel to prepare low oil-meal for me. I try to stick to that as much as possible. I just want to say that one should not follow any fad diets. They help you to achieve quick results but prove to be useless in the long run.” Valid point!
