Girls just wanna have fun: Sarah and Neha

Sarah Jane Dias and Neha Sharma were at their giggly best at the promotion held at Reliance Trends, of Kya Super Kool Hain Hum , the sequel to Kya Kool Hain Hum . Anu (Sarah Jane Dias) and Simran (Neha Sharma) are close friends. When they fall in love with brothers Adi and Sid, their lives take a turn for the hilarious. “The film is a crazy-comic love story,” explained Neha Sharma, who got a break in Bollywood with Mohit Suri’s Crook.

To the question “How cool are you in real life?” Sarah said, “pretty,” adding “I am pretty hot, actually. On a more serious note, if cool you mean in terms of an attitude, I am easy-going and keep a level head.”

Sarah’s first important role was in Tamil film Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai . Later, she landed a role in Game, her first Bollywood film.

But when asked if she finds any difference between Bollywood and the South Indian film industry, Sarah said there is hardly any.

“Both the film industries are professional, each having well-established actors.”

Neha, who made a cameo appearance in Kunal Kohli’s Teri Meri Kahaani , said she enjoyed shooting for the Telugu film Chirutha . “I had great fun dancing in five songs in the film and being a part of several action scenes.”

Sarah said she has seen a significant change in the quality of women’s roles. “Women-oriented films are now, more than ever, defining much of Bollywood. Vidya Balan, for example, is paving the way for those who aspire to essay meaningful roles.” Sarah says that off-beat films such as LSD and Kahaani have a set a trend in Bollywood. “The audience are becoming more receptive to different kinds of scripts. This is an encouraging change.”

Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum , directed by Sachin Yardi will be released on July 27 across multiplexes. The film sees Tusshar Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh reprise their roles from the 2005 sleeper hit.
