Versatile actor and performer Boman Irani was on a roll this past week when he performed for the NGO, Shelter Don Bosco, as part of its silver jubilee celebrations. The man packed in a punch by getting the audience to sing to ‘Give Me Some Sunshine’ from his film 3 Idiots and then wowed all present by performing Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way.’ But the highlight was his rendition of ‘Heal The World’ in different voices, including Lionel Ritchie’s, Willie Nelson’s, Tina Turner’s and Michael Jackson’s! The cause was noble and Boman didn’t hesitate even to ask the audience to loosen their purse strings. This man never fails to impress.

Bond with the best

Well, so there is a Bond girl being roped in for Emraan Hashmi’s first international film by the No Man’s Land director Danis Tanovic. Maryam D’Abo, who played Kara Milovy in the 1987 Bond film The Living Daylights, has a pivotal role in the film but not much is being revealed. Emraan is eagerly awaiting his new film with the Oscar-winning Polish director and the inclusion of Maryam has him super excited.

No knots yet

Asin took a break and travelled to the U.S. and, speculation was rife that she was getting married. Considering the actress has not taken up any assignments after her last film Khiladi 786, her trip to LA had the rumour mills working overtime about a secret marriage to a U.S. businessman! Asin is hardly pleased and has rubbished the talk explaining that it was a much-needed family vacation after hectic shooting schedules. Talk about life in the public eye!
