The Hindu Chennai-Pondy Heritage Car Rally, presented by Golden Homes, in association with Madras Heritage Motoring Club and Puducherry Tourism, is scheduled for January 31 and February 1, 2015.
The flag-off ceremony will be held at Edward Elliot’s Beach, Besant Nagar at 8.30 a.m. on January 31, 2015. The rally will be flagged off by Balsingh George, chairman and managing director, Golden Homes Private Limited.
Balsingh, who owns supercars, says he is equally fascinated with vintage and classic cars: “My grandfather owned a 1948 Buick 8 and a 1950s Plymouth Savoy. And I am searching for a Buick 8.”
