After Gundello Godari , director Kumar Nagendra is now back with Joru , a love story starring Sundeep Kishan and three heroines — Rashi Khanna, Priya Banerjee and Sushma Raj. The film is releasing on October 23. Was he happy with the outcome of Gundello Godari ? The director says despite all the limitations, he got positive vibes from the industry people; he obviously made a unique movie and not a formulaic one to play it safe. “I didn't want to be seen as one amongst the crowd making regular movie for a debut . I look for work satisfaction and I thoroughly enjoy the process of film making. People want Telugu cinema to be vibrant and colourful, now my second film Joru will fulfil all such expectations. The contrasting nature of both my films will be interesting.”

Kumar Nagendra is confident about his story and says the set of experienced artistes added value to the characters and gave him more than what he wanted. He adds, “It is a confusion drama. Though the audience will have clarity, the characters on screen will be in a state of confusion. The crowd will enjoy the slapstick comedy. My cousin Ashok is the producer and both of us feel that such type of films are less risky, less cumbersome. The moment you watch the rushes you get the positive vibes.”

The director heaps praise on Sundeep Kishan and cites many reasons as to why he roped him in for the project. Sundeep was one of the heroes with whom he worked for 12 days in Gundello Godaari . He quips, “Sundeep never doubted my capability, he just heard a single line story and confirmed his participation in the film. Not many heroes give a green signal by merely listening to a single line. Screenplay is the highlight, I have elaborated the romantic track as people complained that there was hardly any romance in the first film. You will see me in every aspect from locations to costumes to characters, my brand will be visible.”
