The title of Aina Istam Nuvvu is taken from the song Nuvvu nuvvu… aina ishtam nuvvu …nuvvoo, nuvoo.. written by Seetarama Sastri for the film Khadgam.

It is a debut project for both the director and the actor. Vijaya Nirmala's grandson Nawin Vijay Krishna is being introduced as a hero in Aina Ishtam Nuvvu wherein director Ramprasad Ragutu wielded the megaphone. The film is ready for release but has been pushed to next month owing to the release schedules of Baahubali and Srimanthudu . The title of Aina Istam Nuvvu is taken from the song Nuvvu nuvvu… aina ishtam nuvvu …nuvvoo , nuvoo.. written by Seetarama Sastri for the film Khadgam .

The director explains about his title, “Nawin was working as editor and I was a designer come AD with Krishna Vamsi; we both travelled for eight years. Krishna Vamsi didn't want us to use the title but I liked it as the word aina has an element of curiosity.’

Talking about casting Nawin Vijay Krishna, he says, “We were looking for a fresh face, someone who flirts and goes behind girls. I thought it will help my career if I take someone from a star family. and when we discussed this project, Nawin agreed to do it. For the role, he lost weight and was all ready in two years. His father Naresh heard the story but grandmother Vijaya Nirmala didn't want to listen as she felt that being a director herself, it was improper for her to ask for a narration. All she said was that if I am confident I should go ahead.”

Ramprasad has done away with the hero’s intro fights that are common in films. It is a cute love story with a lot fun in the family. It is basically inspired from Ramayana. He elaborates, “What if there were two Ravanas, one who is a negative force and other a positive one. A positive villain is one who does anything for sister Soorpanakha, he is the funny Ravana. Rahul is the main villain who plays a eunuch and sells girls. Then there is a beautiful love story . By interval the heroine gets sold and everyone wonders if it’s an action cinema but the scene shifts to a Kalyana Mantapam and there is fun and fun alone.”

Undeniably there is an influence of Krishna Vamsi on him. Ramprasad had passed from JNTU in fine arts and advertising and had been a creative head in O&M and had a brief stint with Microsoft. He adds, “ Aina Ishtam Nuvvu holds good because in the story Nagababu likes his sister, the villain likes the heroine, the hero likes heroine and more. It is a pure love story that youngsters in the age group of 16 to 25 experience. The hero sees her, loves her but how much he loves her is what I exaggerated.”
