V.J. Yudhishtir has a different fitness mantra

When he walks in wearing his recently acquired pilot uniform for Star Plus’s show Airlines — har udaan, ek toofan , V. J. Yudhishtir looks every inch the tough guy who loves to flaunt his physique at the slightest opportunity.

Though this veejay-turned-actor has a tough exterior, he is gentle on the inside and believes in the concept of wholesome living.

Asked about his fitness routine, Yudhishtir surprises one by saying, “I am not a big fan of the bulky body that one acquires through gymming. Instead, I like to stay active and prefer riding and biking. It keeps one closer to nature. I aim at both physical and spiritual well being.”

High on sports, Yudhistir says he adores the game of football. He says, “I like both the European and American style of playing soccer. I have to accept that I’m a fan of both Brazil and Argentina.”

Giving an insight into his sports routine, Yudhistir says, “I have purchased a motor bike and I am planning to learn motor-crossing in Bangalore. I know it is a new sport for India but I hope it develops here.”

It is a known fact that paying attention to what you eat is imperative if you want to fit sleekly into your favourite pair of slim jeans.

In Yudhishtir’s words, “When it comes to food I follow a certain routine. I like to cook, especially preparing salads. I am mostly a vegetarian, partially because I’m against cruelty to animals, and it is cleaner living.”

This TV pilot who believes in healthy living along with a fixed routine is sure to fly high in the entertainment skies.
