JAI AND VEERU IN ACTION A still fromthe series.

Now Jai and Veeru of Sholay fame will be seen in an animated avatar. Pogo is adapting the cult movie as Sholay Adventures.

The film will have the same Jai and Veeru but as 8-year-olds who are sharp and brave children out there to save the world from the quintessential villain, Gabbar Singh whose mission is as dark as in the original.

Crafted by Graphic India, Sholay Adventures looks to bring alive the classic characters through a whole new storyline that would appeal to children.

Like this time SHOLAY is an abbreviation of the secret organisation run by Thakur.

The adults will get to relive their Sholay moments too as the action packed movie promises to unite families. While the children enjoy the adventure with science and gadgets thrown in, the adults get to experience Sholay in a new avatar. Keeping the emotions related to Sholay intact, just like the film, Sholay Adventures will focus on the central themes of friendship and loyalty.

The voices of the characters have the same inflection as Jai, Veeru, Gabbar, Thakur and Basanti of the original to allow a new generation of fans to connect with the film.
