THE LINE-UP OF CHARITY CALENDARS 2015

It’s time for the annual round-up of animal charity calendars brought out by various non government organisations across the country. If you’re looking to get yourself or someone a gift that also helps a furry friend in need, check out some of the calendars on offer for 2015. All proceeds from sales go to the causes they support.

To order this calendar that’s priced at Rs.300, call 09958866067, visit www.rprstore.com or email redpawsrescue@gmail.com.

Humane Animal Society (HAS), Coimbatore, that conducts animal birth control, vaccination and adoption camps in the area, has brought out a desktop calendar titled ‘EveryLife 2015’ with stunning black-and-white photographs of animals.

Speaking about the theme this year, HAS co-founder Mini Vasudevan says, “Through the ever-changing landscapes and backdrops, the subjects are seen striking a resonant chord with their surroundings. ‘EveryLife 2015’ is an attempt to capture some emotions, sentiments and instincts of animals across the country and beyond.”

The calendar is priced at Rs.250 and can be ordered at has.cbe@gmail.com or by calling 9366127215.

The annual People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) calendar is a celebration of their most inspiring rescue stories in the year gone by.

“The PETA 2015 Rescue Calendar has 12 beautiful photographs and inspiring true stories of animals rescued by compassionate people.

Our deepest appreciation to photographers Devendra Parab, Aneesh Sankarankutty and Sreedhar Vijayakrishnan for their loving portraits of rescued animals,” says PETA’s Bhuvaneshwari Gupta.

Priced at Rs.300, the wall-hanging calendar can be ordered by emailing info@petaindia.org, visiting www.petaindia.com or calling 022-40727382.
