CHARMING AMBIENCE At Hola.

Former marketing professional and owner of award-winning restaurant chains Delhi Highway and Hola, Mukesh Kaushik, dreams big — of carving a name for himself as a restaurateur in India and abroad. Kaushik now operates in three cities — Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi. He started the first outlet of Delhi Highway in Chennai in February 2013 and the second in 2014 at Wallace Garden, Nungambakkam. The restaurant serves north Indian vegetarian fare. Kaushik has bigger plans for Delhi Highway and is launching a restaurant in Mumbai later this month and, in Bangalore, by June. He plans to take Delhi Highway to international markets too.

Another brand he has introduced to the city is Hola, situated on the Besant Nagar beach. Launched in December 2015, Hola is a rooftop and sea-view restaurant, serving Italian and Mexican cuisine.

The restaurant is also popular for its candle-lit dinners. The second Hola outlet is to be launched later this month in the heart of the city and in Puducherry in July.

The restaurateur has already launched the pilot project of his next Quick Service Restaurant format Grill Wrap at Khader Nawaz Khan Road and is planning to open at least five more outlets in different areas of the city by year-end.
