When was the last time you took time out to “talk” to your mother? To have a cosy dinner at home with your family? To curl up on your bed with your favourite book?

In this fast-paced world, we have forgotten how it is to enjoy simple stuff! We want everything to be quick and are restless to move to the next task. We don’t talk to our mothers; it’s either monologues or arguments. Dinners are either elaborate affairs in fancy hotels or just shoved down our mouths without even bothering to sit down!

We take everyday life for granted and don’t value the things that are most valuable just because they are “simple”. The more complex things are, the better! We take our bikes to go to a shop down the street. All we need to do WALK for two minutes.

Instead of running behind life, let life catch up. It will be more beautiful and peaceful. Life is like a train journey…You will reach your destination irrespective of whether you run, pace, or jump around inside the train. None of this increases the journey’s speed. So why not sit back and relax and enjoy simple things? Just like you sit and watch the passing scenery from the train?
