Pondering over the irony of human life…

It was one of those days when I was staring at my textbook and my mind flew like a free bird. Thoughts of self-realisation trickled in like water droplets quenching one’s thirst.

I didn’t know whether to smile or cry at God’s play with man. I see people with fame and fans but with a shattered family, people who are all so good but have none to share their love and affection with, people with brains who never work, people who are so sincere but still strive hard to survive…maybe it’s God’s way of keeping checks and balances. I wonder whether to smile or cry.

Then as I was thinking, there came the most precious drop of all — I just realised I had a science test the next day. So I stopped pondering and continued staring at my textbook...
