Recently, I went to attend an interview. I was asked to enter my name and phone number in a book at the reception. I did so. I finished my interview and returned. That night I received a message from an unknown number: “Guess who this is?”

I have a lot of friends who play similar pranks on me, so I assumed it would be one of them. After a while I learnt that the person I was messaging was a boy who had also attended the interview that morning. He had been waiting in the reception for a long time, looked into the register and noticed my mobile number.

I was shocked by the way he got hold of my number. Though the company is responsible for letting others view people’s contact details, we must also be careful. We must not give strangers an opportunity to create problems.
