Going through the menu some days by the dishes and other days by the price, fighting over food, eating from a single plate, ordering more than can be eaten and not knowing what to do. That one friend who can eat everybody’s leftovers and another who can barely finish even half. Karishma Chat Centre: Some of the best pani puri , kulfi and chat are available here. Located on Nungambakkam High Road, right outside Rangoli and Karishma clothes boutique.

Mango and Tango: best known for their quality fresh juices. Again, located on Nungambakkam High Road next to Indian Oil Petrol Bunk.

Alsa Mall Sandwich: There are about four of them lined one next to the other outside Alsa Mall on Montieth Road in Egmore. The shacks are well known for their yummy vegetarian and non-vegetarian sandwiches.
