New York premiere for U Turn

Pawan Kumar’s much-awaited film U-Turn will have its world premiere at the New York Indian Film Festival on May 8. Pawan, who has a penchant for picking unique concepts and turning them on their head, tackles the topic of Bengaluru’s traffic in this film. NYIFF is North America’s oldest and most prestigious festival for feature films, documentaries, and shorts from and about the Indian subcontinent.

After his hugely successful film Lucia , comes this thriller from the man who changed the way Kannada cinema is made and stories told — his was the first ever crowd-funded Kannada movie, and the narrative style of the film was refreshing.

U-Turn stars Shraddha Srinath, Roger Narayan, Dilip Raj, Skanda, Krishna, Pavan, Naveen, Divya, Pramod, Aarna, Kennedy and others.
