Well-known artistes will talk and discuss art at the Universe of Sound, a three-day festival by MusicUniv

The Universe of Sound is a three-day festival presented by MusicUniv, a pioneering venture in bringing structured music education to schools. It will feature some of the top names from the music world, who will present their art in an interactive forum. Each day the focus will be on one of the three basic aspects of music — melody, harmony and rhythm. The festival will feature artistes from different genres (Hindustani, Western classical/Contemporary and classical dance) in a lecture-concert format, followed by a discussion led by a prominent Carnatic vocalist. The programme will be interspersed with performances by children from Arsha Vidya Mandir, Calibre Academy, Chettinad Harishri Vidyalayam, Headstart, PSBB, Vidya Mandir, Lady Andal Matriculation, MCTM, Mahindra World School and NalandaWay.

Seats are reserved for children studying music in one of MusicUniv’s participating schools and students of music/dance from eminent institutions such as Kalakshetra.
