Music directors are trying their best to do something different with their compositions these days. Taj Noor, for instance, has come up with an innovation for his upcoming film Vethu Vettu .

Explains director S. Mani Bharathi, “We (Taj Noor and I) discussed different ideas and decided that one instrument in each song would take centre stage. There are five songs in the movie; the first features the wind instrument Nadaswaram prominently. While the second and third feature the flute and vocals, the fourth is a folk number that uses the ‘thappu’ (a drum). The fifth number in the film showcases the guitar.”

Harish and Malavika Menon play lead roles in this project.
