It's not surprising that Madhan Karky who turned a lyricist with the 2010 science-fiction film “Enthiran” and penned that popular song “Irumbile Oru Irudhaiyam” with lines such as Google-kal kaanatha thedalgal ennodu (my eyes have the search that Google doesn't have) now has the distinction of having an app in the iStore.

Son of Vairamuthi, Karky is the first lyricist with an app to his credit. “This will enable iPhone and iPad users download the free app and browse my lyrics. An interesting feature is the transliteration/translation of all my lyrics,” he informs.

Professional subtitle writer Rekhs and Nandini Karky have provided translations of all Karky's lyrics in English.

“The app also has special galleries for photos and awards. The Askme feature in the app enables users to have discussions on the lyrics,” says the successful lyric and dialogue writer. He plans to launch the app for the Android market in a few weeks.
