Actor Hari Priya is satisfied to be playing roles with substance in both Telugu and Tamil movies

After Abbayi Class Ammayi Mass, Hari Priya has come to be known as an actor of substance. Her next film Galata is releasing this week. She says it was a satisfying role; the film has Shree in the lead role and is directed by Krishna Nori. She refutes talk about her putting on weight. She now has her hands full with work in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies and is happy with the choice of films. “Ee Varsham Sakshiga starring Varun Sandesh is in post production. I play Sita Mahalakshmi — a matured but playful character with a helping nature; is If Sita Mahalakshmi promises something she fulfils it. The hero is silent and she is very talkative, ask her for something and she gives a lecture for an hour. It is a pure love story and I am quite excited. Am waiting for its release.”

Hari Priya says the Kannada industry is making great strides technically; contentwise too it has made rapid progress in the past few years. No wonder many actors are open to taking up roles in Kannada movies. Ugram completed 50 days in Karnataka and is touted as the first blockbuster of the year. Right now she is shooting for Ranatantra (Kannada) and Vaarayo Vennilave (Tamil). The story of Vaarayo…apparently revolves around herAttakatti .
