I learnt this dish from my grandma and its actual name is ‘Chivil urundai.’ It is a highly nutritious and tasty dish. It is a perfect choice as an evening snack.

What you need

Sesame: 1 cup

Jaggery: 1 cup

For garnishing

Ghee: 1 tsp

Cashews: 10 gm

Cooking instructions

Soak one cup of sesame for an hour. Drain the sesame and fry it in an oil free pan until it becomes crispy. Powder the sesame and jaggery and mix it well. Make small balls with that mixture. Garnish it with cashews and serve it.
