How to make spinach cutlet

SPINACH CUTLET

Ingredients

Raw jackfruit – 250 gms cut into pieces

Spinach leaves – 2 cups, finely chopped

Roasted gram flour – One and a half cup

Ginger garlic paste –1 Tspn

2 Green chillies – 2, finely chopped

Turmeric powder – quarter Tspn

Garam masala powder – half Tspn

Salt to taste

Oil for cooking

Method

Discard the seeds from the jack fruit and boil in salted water till slightly tender. Drain out the water and keep in a mixing bowl. Add spinach leaves, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt and mix gently. Now, mix in gram flour with your fingers. Check for salt and blend the mixture well.

Divide into portions and shape each portion into a tikkie . Heat a non stick pan, and brush it lightly with oil. Roast the tikkies in medium hot oil from both sides till brown and crispy. Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
