Ginger Pakoda

Ginger Pakoda

Ginger pakoda is a perfect choice for an evening snack. I learnt this dish from my grandmother.

What you need

Maida: 2 cups

Ginger paste: 2 tsp

Green chilly paste: 2 tsp

Salt: to taste

Refined oil

As garnish

Cashew nuts: 10 gm

Curry leaves

Cooking instructions

Take maida and sieve well. Place maida, ginger paste, green chilly paste, salt, four tbsp of hot refined oil in a bowl and mix well. Sprinkle some water if necessary. Make small balls out of this ball and flatten it with the thumb. Deep fry these flattened balls and garnish it with curry leaves and fried cashew nuts. The pakodas are ready to be served.
