Located between Costa Coffee on one side and Meghna restaurant on the other, Addict Juice may just go unnoticed. Thankfully that doesn't happen. The charming Addict Juice store catches your eye immediately. So in I went with the hope that I would be able to drink different and refreshing juices. I wasn't disappointed.
I helped myself to a tall glass of Berry Immune, a smooth blend of blueberry, orange, pineapple, apple and guava. The juice is a swirl of sweet and sour tastes…slurp! Its high Vitamin C content ensures a strong immunity against annoying colds.
Next, I am served a colourful glass of Raspberry Breeze. A breeze it is indeed. An assortment of fruits — orange, peach, apple and banana — are combined to render a tangy and sweet taste to this juicy delight.
From the many choices of green tea on offer, I pick two — apple green tea and grape green tea. Truth be told, I am rather wary of the bitter taste of green tea. But I decide to give it a try. The very first sip dispels all my preconceived notions. My head spins for adjectives to describe its taste: interesting, strong and pleasant are three words I finally settle on. Next, I sample the Acai berry juice that is high in anti-oxidants which arrests ageing. The taste is sweet with a hint of sour in it.
