Barista Lavazza launched its art-inspired menu recently

Barista Lavazza recently launched “Amore”, its new art-inspired menu. The menu has been designed in association with ‘Arrested by Art’- a Delhi based contemporary art boutique. The launch took place at the Artbull Art Gallery in Lado Sarai. The event included a live performance by the Indie band The Underknowns who entertained the guests with their music.

The new menu has been divided into four creatively named sections. New items like the chicken seekh sandwich, the barbeque chicken turnover and the chicken ham and tomato sandwich have been added. New desserts include the chocolate croissant. The café has also introduced veg. and non-veg. platter options in their menu. “Young adults are our predominant customers,” said Nilanjan Bhattacharya, COO, India and SAARC, Barista Lavazza. Prices range from Rs. 180 for an egg brekwich sandwich to Rs. 250 and Rs. 350 for the veg. and the non-veg. platters.

Alongside the new menu, a new radio jingle of Barista Lavazza was also launched. Speaking about the entry of international coffee chain Starbucks in India, Bhattacharya said, “We would always believe that any brand which comes in is strongly going to help us in expanding the category.”
