Fitness is an intrinsic part of actor Neha Dhupia’s lifestyle. “No matter what I do, where I am, I always spend an hour working out and even if I have an early morning flight,I will get up at 5:30 and go for a run. I run about 7-10 kms every day and I really enjoy it because it helps me kick-start my day,” revealed former Miss India at the unveiling of the Marks & Spencer Flagship store.
The actor keeps herself physically fit during hectic working hours. “I carry a pair of sneakers and my iPod everywhere I go and no matter what I do. If I have to compromise on half an hour of sleep or if I have to sacrifice on a little time from family and friends, I just make sure that I work out”.
The artist who has been seen in films like Ek Chaalis Ki Last Local, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Phas Gaye Re Obama and Dilli Heights etc. lays emphasis on making a little difference to one’s lifestyle by working out. “I always like to work out. The days I do workout, I just feel I sleep better”.
Although not a diet freak, the actor feels modifying one’s food habits also contributes towards maintaining good health. “I don’t eat anything that is high calorie but I am not for dieting. I think for me, my fitness mantra is always to eat a little less. If I think I can eat two sandwiches, I eat one and I always exercise a little more, if I think I can run seven kilometres, I run eight that day.”
