Saying no to bling

Looking good can be an art, a skill to acquire, and some people may need a little help at it. That’s what Chitrangada Singh hopes to accomplish with her Star N Style collection. At the launch of the second edition of Myntra’s fashion property recently, Chitrangada spoke of her fashion fundas.

“I grew up in Meerut, where we had limited access to fashion. Myntra has over 500 brands, so I think it will be a great opportunity for people in smaller towns and cities who don’t have access to brands to keep updated on fashion.”

“It doesn’t matter if you are a housewife or a working woman, you need to feel confident and good about yourself,”Chitrangada adds.

Letting on a little about her own personal taste in clothes the sultry actor says, “The brands I wear most are GAP, FCUK and Vero Moda. I think they have really nice stuff. But I’m not too good at carrying off too much bling. I like understated, feminine clothes and I don’t like to experiment too much.”

Chitrangada’s next film is Inkaar which portrays the power struggle between men and women.
