Design and fabric certainly did the talking at the recently concluded India Couture Week with the country’s most celebrated designers Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Rina Dhaka, Anju Modi, Gaurav Gupta, Monisha Jaising and Manish Malhotra providing a peek at their creativity and craft.
But the fashion week was also much spoken about for the presence of Bollywood celebrities both on and off the runway. Malaika Arora Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Bipasha Basu, Shraddha Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Nimrat Kaur turned showstoppers and upped the style and glamour quotient while Rani Mukherji was seated in row one rooting for good friend, Sabyasachi. And thus continued the bonding between fashion and films.
