If you belong to the section that vouches only for branded wear and are willing to shell out money, this store may be your answer.

It’s the Tommy Hilfiger showroom, dedicated to children’s wear. Housed in the ground floor of Garuda Mall, the store offers clothes for children aged between two and 14 years.

At the moment there is the Spring/Summer 2012 collection that is on display. The store is clearly divided into two sections – boys and girls. The girls section offers a wide range of designs.

Pink is the dominant colour. They start at Rs. 799. For girls there are skirts, shorts, one-piece dress, jeans and t-shirts. Then there are also summer frocks in bright flowery prints and loads of designs in denim. “We also have a section of swim wear range for the children,” says Radhika Gowda, the Manager of the store.

For the older girls there are also capris and daily wear pants and frocks that can also be used for party wear.

Girls aged between four and eight can pick up pretty polka dotted frocks in summer colours for Rs. 1,599. For the boys there isn’t much to choose from, design wise. But there are bright-coloured shirts, t-shirts, casuals, pants, shorts and so on.

The polos come at Rs. 1,099, while the t-shirts start at Rs. 999. Our designs are new every month as we keep getting fresh stock, says Radhika.

The store is open from 10 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. and can be contacted on 41573443.
