Etalage, the fashion house that promotes promising young designers, unveiled new lines by Vibrrant, Payal Gupta and Kamaali, at a fashion show choreographed by Karun Raman. While New Delhi-based Vibrrant’s key note was femininity and painstakingly handcrafted ensembles, Kamaali played with colours and textures to match the festive mood. Brocades, sequins, lace and velvets added a dash of richness to the work-intensive creations. For those wanting to pick up jewellery, there is Payal Gupta’s new collection “Jahanara.” Inspired by royalty, the line fuses traditional tastes and a modern sensibility. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings in diamonds and polki encrusted with precious stones form part of Payal’s grand designs for Deepavali.

At Etalage, G. N. Chetty Road, T. Nagar, till October 8.
