Craft mela by Rakalai Handicrafts

Rakalai Handicrafts is organising ‘Indian Crafts Mela.’ The exhibition-cum-sale features silk and cotton saris, carpets, artificial vegetables, temple jewellery. Painting made of semi-precious stones are also on display along with silk paintings from Rajasthan, bangles from Hyderabad, white wood carving from Jaipur, toys from Kondapalli, brass ware from U.P., jute bags, pillow covers, bed spreads, dress materials, and gift items. A discount of 20 per cent will be given on handloom and 10 per cent on handicraft.

The expo will go on till July 28. It is being held at D.K. Kalyana Maaligai, W-114, 3 Avenue, Anna Nagar. For details, call 98845 12401.
