More space, more indulgence The re-launched look of Collage

Collage, started by Priya Vasudevan six years ago, has been re-launched. It has all-new interiors and a new set of designers displaying their collection of clothes and accessories. The place offers you a wide range of designs by 24 sought-after designers from India. The boutique is huge and is designed with large mirrors in each section and a seating area. The colours and display relax you instantly and you tend to look at every design leisurely.

The stylishly done boutique offers clothes by Tarun Tahiliani, Sabyasachi, Malini Ramani, Pankaj Nidhi and so on. The clothes section offers western and Indian dresses. They all start at Rs. 10,000.

You can pick up a designer top for Rs. 5,000. “The fabric that we use is mostly natural. So you can pick up silk, chiffon satins and so on,” says Priya. There are salwar suits in anarkali styles. Then there are those that come with zardosi work and embroidery, and inspired by the Kalamkari art.

There is a beautiful range of designs by Ashish and Viral Parikh from Ahmedabad. Their range of designs with Parsi embroidery, and clothes in Banarasi silks are pretty attractive. You can pick from a large range of chikankari designs by Payal Jain. If you are crazy about the six-yards then there is a pretty range by Sabyasachi to pick from.

The boutique also has dedicated a large space for designer jewellery. The section offers silver, gold and diamond jewellery. They come in the forms of earrings, pendants, rings, and bracelets. They start at Rs. 10,000.

Besides these, there are also shoes, clutches and handbags that come in various shapes, colours and styles. “These are not daily wear. They are more suited for occasions like a lunch party, wedding or any special occasion,” explains Priya.

Collage, on Wood Street, is open from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. and can be contacted on 25566818/9
