From diamond-studded to svelte mother-of-pearl dials, Raymond Weil's new range of watches, ‘Jasmine' has been exclusively designed for the women of today. The range, which was recently launched at their boutique in the city, is available is various sizes and dial variations.

Jasmine, reminiscent of Asia and the Orient, with leaf-shaped hands in the dial, exudes femininity. The watch come in steel and leather straps. The range introduces different sizes in dials; from a 29mm to a 35mm dial for those who prefer bigger dials.

“This range has been designed and dedicated to modern women who are young, trendy and like to sport a bold product. These watches are a status symbol, a part of a women's everyday ensemble. We also realised that a lot of women now prefer bigger dials and tried to satisfy that need too,” says Olivier Bernheim, President and CEO, Raymond Weil.

The ‘Jasmine' range is priced between Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 1, 70, 000 and comes with different dial variations too. There is the smooth silver, mother of pearl and diamond-studded finish. The metal straps come in steel and steel gold (bicoloured). “Pure jewellery pieces are a trend here. I don't have to explain how much Indians love jewellery,” exclaims Olivier, “India is an excellent market and high-end watches are now all over the place. Luxury watches are starting to do very well in Chennai now.”

Raymond Weil, with their new collection, sticks to their roots. “While other luxury watch brands have had sports collections and so on, we love to do what we're known for. We're a family run business and are firmly entrenched in our traditional watch making. We would like to carry on that style,” Olivier adds.

The ‘Jasmine' collection is available at the Raymond Weil Store, Ground Floor, Express Avenue, Royapettah.
