Facelifted version of Nano on the anvil

The car to undergo minor styling tweaks

March 12, 2013 05:58 pm | Updated 05:58 pm IST

Tata Motors, in a bid to check the plummeting sales of its Nano, is reportedly planning to launch a facelifted version of the car by the latter half of the year. The Nano will get mostly cosmetic changes and no mechanical revisions are expected.

The minor styling tweaks primarily comprise changes to the rear of the car. The facelifted Nano gets a chrome strip at the back and a honeycomb grille above the rear bumper. The interiors are also expected to see changes like dual speakers integrated to the dashboard. The two gloveboxes seen in the special edition will be offered as standard on the facelift.
