Simple daily wear earrings

It is a good idea to always own a few pairs of elegant earrings that you can wear on a daily basis. Gold and silver colored earrings with simple detailing are the best to wear daily to college. The poojas are coming soon and Chandbalis are a big trend. For college, buy simple chandbalis in silver with a bit of enamel work. Remember to pick the pair that will go well with most of your clothes. If you have a round face, try and wear studs. If you have an oval face and a slender neck you can pretty much wear any earring. But remember, for daily wear, the rule of thumb is not to wear something too elaborate.

A versatile tote bag

The tote bag is an investment that will hold you in good stead through out your college years. Pick the right sized tote that will fit everything that a college girl needs. Books, stationery, make up, phone, ipad, charger, medicines et all get dumped into the tote. So it must be big enough and not too over sized to stay on trend. Prints are trendy this summer and what better way to flaunt this trend than by owning a tote that has prints on it. Prints can range from florals, checks to downright quirky. Quirky prints tend to get noticed more. So if you want to catch someone's eye, be bold and go for the quirky printed tote bag. If you want to keep it understated and play around with your other accessories, buy a plain black or a tan coloured tote bag.

Haathphools and Ear cuffs

College days are a lot about partying just as much as studying! The trendiest accessories to wear at a party are hand harnesses and ear cuffs. Wear the little black dress with a haath phool and you are sure to be the most stylish girl at the party. If you're aiming for a rocker chic look, wear a tasseled ear cuff with ripped jeans and a black top. Make sure that you're not wearing a necklace while wearing an ear cuff as it will tend to clash. The important thing to remember is to have fun with these funky accessories.

Some of our best memories are the ones that we make in college. Why not experiment with fashion and stay stylish while making them?

Bangles and Cuffs

A bangle is the most feminine accessory that you can use to dress up your college clothes. There is a wide variety of bangles that you can choose from to look fashionable. Pair a cotton salwar kameez with a pair of gold dipped bangles with semi precious stones. Broad glass bangles in a few common colors will give you the variety that you might want to pair with your tunics and churidhars. A cuff is a trendier version of the otherwise usual bangle. Buy a textured cuff to wear for those special college fetes to be noticed.

Statement necklace

A statement necklace is a must have piece of jewellery in every girl's wardrobe. You have to pick the right necklace in order to complete your look. A huge trend seen on runways is the layer necklace. You can work this look in different ways. One way is to wear a long beaded necklace wrapped around to create two or three layers. Another more contemporary look is to flaunt a multi chain necklace with semi precious stones. A fashion rule that will do you good to remember is when you wear a statement necklace keep the earrings minimal. Pair a statement necklace with your salwar kameez or a saree to be a fashion diva at your college.
