For the coming Deepavali, Uttarayan, is organising Kali puja and special Deepavali celebrations. On October 22, it is time for some entertainment programme which includes Anandmela at 7 p.m. followed by a dance programme. At 8.30 p.m. Subham and his band ‘Axis’ will regale the listeners.

On October 23, there will be a drawing competition at 12 in the noon. A dance ballet by Swapna Dutta and group and Subrata Bhaduri of ‘The Rave’ will perform in the late evening. On the same day, a puja commences at 10 in the night. It will be followed by a homam and pushpanjali at 1 a.m. and Prasad/bhog at 2 a.m.

On October 24, antakshari will be held at 12 noon. A musical nite by Manomay Bhattacharyya and playback singer Subholaxmi Dey and the troupe from Kolkata will perform. An arati will be performed at 9 p.m. on the same day.

Immersion will be held on October 26 at 10 a.m.
