Street spectacle

February 28, Beach Road, 4.30 to 7 p.m.

Line up to cheer artists and students of the Alliance Francaise as a flamboyant and festive parade floats through the main streets of Pondy. There will be music, dance and pomp put together by musicians and Indian folk dancers. Composer Paul Jacob, singers Kavita Gopi and Fantazio, and the band Kikiristan will jazz up the mood.

Fools rush in

‘Clowns sans frontieres is here to make you smile and fly away to fantasy land, blending magic with the tricks of the circus. Organsied by the Alliance Francaise, department of Tourism and Navayuga Consultancy, the show is part of the Indo-French festival. Open to all.
