The Festive Designer Collection has designer wear by Anuradha Ramam, Vasa and Kaara in different fabrics, canvases and impeccable cuts — a coming together of mellow classicism and festive glitter.
Impeccable stitchesRamam’s dupattas enthral. One black cotton beauty has pretty pink and blue flowers all over amidst trellis-vine done in impeccable Kantha stitches. Ethereal Kota dupattas with touches of delicate embroidery, hand-painted Devanagri scripting, ikat and cotton dupattas , and a chess board patch-work odhni picked out in Kantha stitching cast a festive spell.
Parts of Anuradha’s collection are classic — ikat and handloom kurtas in special weaves and in a gamut of colours.
The festive touch is carried forward by Kaara, which offers delectable chikan work anarkalis , saris, and dramatic palazzos. Particularly eye-catching are net and chiffon chikan -work saris.
