Everywhere you turn you are told that the economy is on a downward curve. However, defying the trend is Audi, which it is claimed, continues to grow at a rapid pace. It may be very surprising but the demand for Audi in the luxury car segment is on the rise not just for new cars but pre-owned cars as well. This came to light at the launch of a new Audi showroom Audi Approved: Plus Gurgaon, which specialises in pre-owned cars. The showroom was inaugurated by popular hero Abhishek Bachchan along with Joe King, Head, Audi India along with Trashy Todd, Managing Director, Audi Gurgaon. Giving them company at the launch were senior cricketer Kapil Dev and Ramola Bachchan.

Speaking on the occasion, Joe King, said, “Last year was a record year for us. I feel proud to say that every second luxury car sold in Delhi NCR is an Audi. Audi Approved: Plus is a perfect opportunity for Audi fans in Delhi NCR to upgrade and join the Audi family. Every car is put through a rigorous programme by highly trained Audi engineers followed by thorough multi-point checks and are technically conditioned to Audi standards.” Said Rashy Todd, “Unfortunately here in India we do not have an organized used car market. With this new facility we aim to bring stability and credibility in the unorganized pre-owned car market for luxury cars and delight our customers with the best value proposition available in the market.” Some pre-owned cars on offer include Audi A4, 1.8 litre petrol, 2013 model and just 6,000 kms on the milometer for Rs.28 lakh. Audi A6, 2.0 TDI, 2014 model driven only for 70 kms for Rs.44 lakh. Audi Q5,2.0 TDI, 2014 registered with 1800 kms for Rs.45 lakh. Audi Q7, 3.0 TDI, 2013 and 10,000 kms on the milometer for Rs.68 lakh. The price of this new car is Rs.80 lakh.
