From traditional silks in new-age colours and chic gowns dusted with sequins, simple, light-weight jewellery for mehendi ceremonies and ornate ones encrusted with precious stones for the muhurtham to novel gifting ideas and innovative make-over packages… The Hindu Bridal Mantra 2013 offers plenty of options.

The third edition of this mega exposition is set for launch on August 30, at the Leela Palace, Chennai, with a ramp event featuring the works of leading designers Neeta Lulla, Narendra Kumar and Gaurav Gupta, besides a jewellery show by GRT Jewellers and a display of handcrafted “Silks of India” by RmKV. Bridal Mantra 2013 , a wedding fashion magazine with actor Sonam Kapoor on the cover, will also be released during the show.

On August 31 and September 1, Bridal Mantra will showcase a range of brands, products and service providers relating to weddings at an exposition at Leela Palace. From big retail names in the silk, jewellery and the trousseau business to up-and-coming labels, the exhibition will offer a wide choice. Besides big jewellery retailers from the South such as GRT Jewellers, Malabar and Navrathan, the expo will also showcase the latest collections of design labels such as Amrapali and Rasvihar. A host of famous fashion labels from Jaipur including Vasansi and Zari will display bridal attires in traditional and contemporary styles. There will be a good representation by established retailers as well as small, yet inventive brands from New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata and Kerala.

GRT Jewellers is the title sponsor of this edition of The Hindu Bridal Mantra, which will be powered by RmKV Silks. When you visit the exposition, you can pamper yourself with various services from our make-up and hair partner Naturals.

The Hindu Bridal Mantra was launched in 2011 in Chennai. Into its third year, the event has become an important date in Chennai’s social and shopping calendar.

Bridal Mantra has, over the years, showcased the works of top-notch designers including Ritu Kumar, Varun Bahl, Suhani Pittie, Anjali and Arjun Kapoor, Ecru, Raghavendra Rathore and Falguni and Shane Peacock. Last year, Bridal Mantra made its debut in Singapore with a rocking show at St. James Power Station. This edition starts with Chennai and moves to Hyderabad in January next year. After that, Bridal Mantra is set for launch in Dubai.
