Nominations open for entrepreneurs

Ernst & Young, the global professional services firm, launches the 15th edition of its Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards, and announced the opening of the nominations for its upcoming 2013 programme. The award aims to reach entrepreneurs in the Metros as also the Tier II / III cities. The programme covers 50 countries and 140 cities. ‘Innovative Game Changers’ is the theme for the 15th edition, and strives to reflect how Indian entrepreneurs can succeed in the changing global business environment with focus on innovation. The nominees are judged on their entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, strategic thinking, financial success, personal integrity and influence. A jury comprising the country’s distinguished business leaders will select these entrepreneurs, across various categories, including the National Entrepreneur Of The Year Award. Category Awards have included Manufacturing, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Consumer Products, Services, Start-ups, Manager and Business Transformation. The finalists and winners will be felicitated in New Delhi in February 2014.

Both founders and professional CEOs can apply, subject to them being primarily responsible for the recent performance of a company and being a member of the top management team. An entrepreneur can also be nominated by someone associated with the individual.
