Take the road less travelled to little known destinations in God's own country, with ‘Discover Kerala' budget holiday packages organised by the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC). The packages are available with or without transportation and ranges from four nights to 12 nights. It includes accommodation and breakfast on a fixed menu and destination information assistance.
The ‘Utharayanam' package offers two ways to discover North Kerala. With the seven-night/eight-day package starting from Kannur to Kochi you can wind your way through Bekal, Kappil, Prasssinikadavu, Edakkal caves, Nilambur, Mannarkad, Silent Valley, Malampuzha, Thrissur, Malayatoor, Kodanad and so on while staying for the night at Mangattuparambu, Kannur, Thiruneli, Sultan Bathery, Mannarkad, Guruvayur and Kalady. The same destinations are available in the seven-night/eight-day package from Kochi to Kannur.
The two ‘Dakshinayanam' packages are a great way to discover South Kerala. In six nights/ seven days explore Kerala starting from Thiruvananthapuram to Kochi via Varkala, Ashtamudi, Konni, Thekkady, Ramakkalmedu, Ervaikulam, Malayatoor and so on. A trip to Kanyakumari and Padmanabhapuram Palace is also part of the package. In these two packages, you can stay at Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Peermedu, Munna and Kalady. The same package is available from Kochi as well.
In the ‘Sundara Keralam' package, journey across the length and breath of Kerala in 11 nights and 12 days. Starting from Kanyakumari, journey to Bekal, visting on the way places such as Changanassery, Munnar, Kumarakom, Thattekad, Muthanga, Payyambalam and Chandragiri. The same package is available from Bekal to Kanyakumari. The tariff ranges from Rs. 7,500 for the six nights seven days package for two persons to Rs. 12,750 for the ‘Sundara Keralam' package.
