Karthi and Kajal Aggarwal’s first film together Naan Mahan Alla was a huge hit. And now, the two are excited about their upcoming rom-com, All In All Azhaguraja , directed by M. Rajesh.

More on their roles

Karthi: Azhaguraja is about people from a small town. It is a romantic comedy. With Rajesh at the helm, you can expect a laugh riot.

Kajal: I play a girl who thinks she is extremely talented and a know-it-all (like how I am in real life). But she is also quite naïve. She is a bubbly and happy person. I am sure I will have a lot of fun.

Comfort factor

Karthi and Kajal may have done just one film together, but having done three Bru commercials together, they are now comfortable with each other and this will help them in having a rapport on the sets of All In All Azhaguraja . Interesting trait

Karthi: We are both Gemini and chatterboxes. We get along very well; we established a comfort zone right from Naan Mahan Alla .

Kajal: We have a good understanding of situations on the sets and of each other’s roles. With All In All Azhaguraja coming up, this comfort level will only make things better.

Coffee connect

Strange as it may sound, coffee has been an important ingredient in Karthi and Kajal’s life.

Karthi: My mom is a huge coffee lover and my dad drinks neither tea nor coffee. Over the years I have developed this love for coffee and ever since I got into acting, coffee has been keeping me awake and alert, especially during long night shoots.

Kajal: When I was a child, I disliked milk. Only after mom started adding a pinch of instant coffee, did the milk go down!
