A luxurious signature facial or an organic one — it’s tough decision as both promise a fabulous-looking skin. I decide to go with the Roland Sacher signature facial at Green Trends Beauty Salon in Race Course.
The revitalising facial has ingredients like pearl water, caviar and magnolia extracts…decadent indeed.
I surrender to D. Jayanthi , my beautician as she treats my face to skin care products from the house of Janssen Cosmetics, Germany.
There is a gentle fragrance as she applies the cleanser powder mixed with toner. The seven-minute leave-on cleanser is the first step. While the cleanser removes the dead cells, the toner balances the pH and ensures that it leaves my skin soft. My face is toned up at every stage, after exfoliation, post steaming… and it leaves my skin supple and smooth.
After a massage with serum, she uses a facial machine that helps the skin absorb the product better. Jayanthi advises me to take good care of my skin at home. “Use cleanser, toner, moisturiser and sunscreen regularly,” she says.
Another round of massage, a white creamy mask, a cool peel-off mask, and an indulgent neck and shoulder rub completes the facial.
While the mask is working its magic I pamper myself to a pedicure too.
And at the end of it all I leave with a radiant face and happy feet.
